Free Membership in Hertz #1 Club Gold for UT Employees (3/17/10)
Hertz has extended University of Tennessee's employees an opportunity to join, at no cost, their #1 Club Gold. By signing up for Hertz #1 Club Gold, employees can bypass the regular rental counter and proceed directly to their pre-assigned vehicle, saving valuable time. It also means completing a one-time rental agreement and vehicle preferences with Hertz. As a #1 Club Gold member, employees will also be automatically enrolled in Hertz's frequent renter program, earning higher levels of Gold service, personal free day certificates, free upgrades, and bonus frequent flier miles. more
Travel Reimbursement Rates Effective 1/01/10
The standard mileage rate will be lowered to $.46 per mile for travel on or after January 1, 2010.
Travel Reimbursement Rates Effective 10/1/09
The travel reimbursement schedule for the Continental US (CONUS)was updated by the federal government effective October 1, 2009. Note that the meal per diem for any cities/counties not explicitly listed (in-state and out-of-state) has increased to $46.00/day. more

Travel Reimbursement Rates Effective 7/1/09
The travel reimbursement schedule has been revised to reflect a decrease in the mileage rate allowance from $.54
to $.51 for
use of a personal automobile. The
new rate is effective for travel on or after July 1, 2009.
